Mild G6PD Deficiency taking acetaminophen/cod

by AngelHeart, Jul 02, 2006 12:00AM
My dentist gave me acetaminophen/cod and I took one last night when I felt tooth pain and I felt fine after taking it but I just remember that I have Mild G6PD Deficiency, the office is close now so nobody is picking up when I called. Right now the pain is not too bad but I can’t eat anything and I was wondering if it’s ok to continue taking the painkiller since I took one last night and I feel fine.

I do not have sufficient information to give you an opinion. I would suggest that if you don't have to take the medication then wait until you can consult with your DDS or MD.
