Tylenol or Advil?

I've recently seen a lot of talk about which is "okay" to take if one has HCV. Some say their doctors recommend Tylenol, where others say their doctors say Tylenol is extremely toxic to patients with HCV and are recommending Advil, or other NSAIDS.
What is you opinion, and have any studies been done on this subject? I have not been able to find any information on this subject.
