Hello. I was taking vicodin ES (prescribed by a doc) but what happened was I got hooked. Now I am worried about the amounts of Tylenol intake. I have taken 10 pills a day which would be 7500 MG. I was told this is dangerous. Poison control freaked me out when I called them but my Doc didn't seem that worried but I did go in this morn for a liver blood test. I am 35 with 2 kids and this has put me off taking any medicines at all. So thats one good outcome, but should I be worried about liver or kidney damage? I won't get the lab results till Friday and I can't stop thinking about this/ I was taking the Pills on and off for 2 years. Not each 10 each day. By the way in January I took a physical and the nurse told me my levels were all normlal. I also suffer from Irritable Bowel syndrome. could tha t have something to do with a livers function? I am in a total anxiety mode and the fact that I get different answers from different people doesn't help. SO HELP PLEASE

Excessive use of acetaminophen can cause liver damage, especially when combined with alcohol. If your liver functions continue to be monitored and are normal, then you should learn your lesson and avoid taking risks like this in the future.
