Question Title: dietForum: The Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases Forum

Four weeks after giving birth to my daughter I had what was termed a gall bladder attack. I was told I would need to have my gall bladder removed and in the meantime I would need to stay on a fat-free diet. I am nursing my daughter and would like to know if this is the best advise for me and what kind of foods I should eat. It may also be important to know that I am diagnosed with Crohn's disease. I find it difficult to eat some vegetables such as onions and broccoli, etc.
Dear Tina, In general you should avoid fatty foods but taking this precaution will not guarantee that you will not have any further attacks of biliary colic. There are no other dietary manipulations to make. HFHSM.D.-rf
