Question Title: Chronic Reflux ProblemsForum: The Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases Forum
| |
|
My son has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, epilepsy, and cortical blindness. He was born at 29 weeks and was diagnosed with reflux before he left the hospital. Treatments for the reflux have included Zantac, Propulsid, Bethanicol, stomach wrap (which is now loose), Pylora Plastia, and G-Tube. He could only tolerate Neocate Infant Formula. At 10 months, he was diagnosed with infantile spasms and was given ACTH. The ACTH was the only thing that stopped the gagging, vomiting and he would finally eat. He is now almost 2. He was put back on ACTH 2 months ago HFHSM.D.-rf
