Pain in left temple and ear - due to wisdom teeth?

by ryanbkey, Nov 27, 2008 06:32PM
For the past two and a half years I have needed to have my wisdom teeth removed, but due to a lack of insurance have been unable to.  However, lately I have noticed a pain in my left temple that is accompanied by heat and soreness, as well as heat in my left ear.  Could this be related to my wisdom teeth?

For the record, I finally have dental insurance, and will be having my teeth extracted as soon as possible.

Yes, it can be due to the wisdom teeth.  The nerves that supply the wisdom teeth also branch and connect and cross by with the other nerves of the face and sometimes pain can be referred.  That basically means it can sorta feel like it jumps to another area of the face.
