Kidney pain with vitamins?

I allways had problems with my kidneys: pain, lower limp odema, dark urine, UTI, protienurea, ureates in urine. They come and go after treatment and I 'm fine now. I started to take a hair and nail supplement called Permea Plus and since I stareted taking it I had this horrible kidney pain in my right side so I stoped it and the pain went away...but I'm not sure if it's the supplemet so I started taking it again yesterday....what do you recommend me to do ?? And is it the cause of the pain? and why?? and if I wanted to take a supplement what should I avoid in it???
