Eye Glasses

I've recently had really tired eyes and senstivity to light from the sun or computer. I've allready made an appointment with the eye specialist but i was wondering, it's been a while since I had a new pair of glasses and noticed that when I take them off my eyes rest a little. My question is how long do the prescription on the glasses last and could the old glasses be causing my eye fatigue?

Dear Deel174,

It is possible, that a prescription which is not up to date may be causing some fatigue of your eyes.  I definitely recommend being evaluated by an eyeMD as light sensitivity can indicate other issues such as inflammation inside the eyes or dryness, to name a few, which may be helped by therapy.
