Good Luck Rita

I just wanted publicly to wish Rita well in her last shot tonight. She has been a trooper through the whole treatment and it has not been an easy one. She made it and was always there to help cheer other up. I am happy for her and can't wait until I can say I reached that milestone.

Good Luck and here is wishing you a SVR and rapid recovery from this treatment.

You really kept up a level head thru all this! No rants, raves, riba rages (that I ever saw) and had your wit(s) going strong. Not easy on this stuff. You remained helpful, kind and thoughtful ........... amazing :)

Good for you Ms. Rita!  You don't know me, but I was writing to Marcia, and saw your post.  I've yet to start, probably January, so I'm hopeful for a 'final shot' post as well. And, evidently SVR is a 'good thing'...I'm so new I'm not 'versed' in the lingo yet. But, big Hugs and blessings to you!

Thank you so much!!!!  It does feel great to know that next weekend I will not be looking for a place to take my shot!!!!!!  

I have to say, when I started this TX, I was so naive to everything.  I had always been the strong one, the single mom who worked two jobs and could get through anything!!!  I assumed that TX would have been the same. All of you have been with me through the horrible sides, and also the good weeks.... You guys have pushed me to this point!!! I would not have been able to post LAST SHOT had it not been for my friends here!!!

You all let me whine, vent, cry and you all made me laugh so much....You also educated me so much!!!!!!!

To all of us finishing up, here hoping to posting SVR!
To all of you in the middle of TX, hang in there....there is an end in sight!!!
To all of you just starting, make friends here, post good days as well as bad times..Ask questions... whine, cry and laugh, laugh at yourelf,  (right Charm?).

Best of luck to you all and I love all of you, you have been my extended family for the last 40 weeks!!!!!!!

So pleased to hear that your final shot is finally behind you, Rita.  I remember your first post here and I watched you fight your way back.  You hung in there and fought the good fight and here you are, finally done.  Be kind to yourself now, Rita.  Give yourself the recovery time and we're still here (even though I'm a bit of a shadow, I'm still here) because treatment isn't quite done with that lost shot, there's that recovery phase too.  Give yourself time and grace to ease back into your life.  I'll be watching for your post results and will be hanging in there for that SVR post from you, Rita.

Two things that those of us who are treating long for - last shot and SVR!  You're almost there. I watched the last part of your tx quietly from the sideline and know how much you have struggled. Now on to SVR!

First of welcome. You found the right place adn the best place for support and information.

SVR= Sustained Viral Response, if you test UND 6 months or more after completing treatment it is considered SVR

We tend to use a lot of acronyms here.
