Help?

by krissy005, Nov 28, 2008 09:33PM
I'm 14, 5'3, 89 pounds [or I was about 3 days ago, but I lose weight easily when I feel sickly] Anyways, I woke up Monday with the chills, sharp stomach pains, and I was nauseated, so I stayed home. I thought it was a bug, but this has now been going on for about 5 days. I woke up at about 1:30 A.M, still feeling crappy, but I still went to school Tuesday. The school nurse gave me some Midol, it made me even more nauseated, but I made it threw the day. Wednesday, I still felt bad, but it was easing off, the pain in my stomach kept coming though. Thursday, I started bleeding, so I figured that I had finally started my period, but it only lasted for about 5-10 minutes. So, I told my mom and she kinda shrugged it off, saying that I probably wasn't done. At about 11:30 P.M, my right side, right about where my appendix is, it felt like I was being stabbed to death. The pain went away, I woke up at about 10:30 this morning, and I just laid around. My side feels like I'm being stabbed, I've taken pain medicine and it still won't go away. The pain ranges from right below my rib-cage, down to my lower right-side. I'm tired of feeling like **** and not being able to eat, and even worse, I've been 'secreting' this brown fluid [bowel movement brown] instead of blood. I'm just curious on what I need to do... my sister believes it's my appendix, but my mom doesn't know what's going on. Any help will be appreciated.

You need to go see a doctor, I have not heard of menstrual bleeding being asssociated with appendix, you could have two issues going one I know for certain that brown blood is not normal for a teen girl, the sharp stabbing pains on right flank could be appendix, kidney stones , ovary problem......you need to be examined.
