Mo' ques. about sleep study

Thank YOU both for getting back to me. Here's the problem, please what do you think?
After my sleep study for plms, which I do not have because my legs kick way before I go into a deep sleep and wake me up every 20 min to 1 hour, continues to kick for 45 min, and the process repeats.
The sleep study came back and the doc said I had insomnia, I said you've got to be kidding, did you look at the video? he said no, so I said I was kicking all night long, and he blue me off and said I must have acute RLS..and he wouldn't take the time to watch what was going on. So I called the head of the dept, and he said that the equipment only records movements in REM or Delta sleep...He's a big lier isn't he?? the tech messed up or the equipment wasn't working? what do you think? The video shows all the kicking, and the report shows nothing..Is that possible? Or does he just not want to re-do the study?
The biggest problem, is every where I go to get help, they think I just have insomnia, and start saying stupid **** to me...and they never what to take a min to watch the video???
Get this, the head of the dept did see the video, after I complained, and said, my God, your really bad, and then said, Geez, I know what's wrong with you, and I can help, but I don't take your insurance so I can't tell you what's wrong with you...NANANANA???? So I called back and said, I will pay anything for you to tell me what I have, he never called back, and I'm fuming mad!!
That's why I need to know if they ALWAYS do a limb movement summary, even if your NOT in REM or Delta?? Did these people rip me off???

I don't know exactly what movement ehy are looking for. I will try and remember to call my sleep study place and aske them your questions. As far as the doctor wathcing the video and not telling you the results, that is total B.S. His diagnosis and findings are part of the process when the clinic took your insurance for the sleep study. It's utterly stupid for an medical organization to say - we'll take your money, perform the sleep study and send you one diagnosis. Even though the doc may not take the insurance you have, he was paid by the hospital to perform the diagnosis and also follow-up to patient questions. I think you should contact your current doctor, explain the problem and let him/her work it out with the sleep study idiot
On another note, I did get your e-mail but I think mmy wife may have deleted it because we get tons of spam from sites trying to set us up with overseas pharmacies and all of the e-mails have female names in the "From" line. Could you please send the e-mail again?

My doc is a loser too!! He knew the report wasn't right and told me to call the sleep study place myself...these doc's are a skip ditty mess!!! they just don't give a ****..but watch I'm gonna make them give a ****, 'cause I'm suffering, and I've had it!!
PLMs, do you mean ALL limb movements during the night? or only the ones for PLMs. I think, I'm getting confused, the kicks during REm and Delta sleep. I did find out from some site that sleep studies are all pretty much the same the first time, they test you for everything, not just what the doc thinks you have. If this is true, then I have the video of my night there showing me violently kicking all night long, with nothing in the written study to show the movements all night.
Doctors seem to be a mess,and not to care if you get the help you need, I know you said take it easy, but HECK NO, I plan to picket with signs like docors lie here, you die here! Or I have a few others. I've called the police dept, and they told me what to do, and they would not arrest me, they won't even come out since I called them. I did this one time when a client wouldn pay his 10,000 bill to the media, and myself, so I waited 115 days, and I picketed, he gave me that check so fast it made my head spin. This is much more important, I am really suffering, and don't sleep at all. I lost my job because of this and I've had it!! I've spent over $700 in specialist fees for them to tell me I have no leg movements at night and they won't watch the video!! All because of this bogus sleep study. I don't want this, I need this!! I am falling apart, and if I am going down there going down with me!! Don't worry, nothing illegal, just everything I can do to get under their skin and give me what I need, and what I already paid for. P.s. I went to the ins. co. way, they won't do a thing, so I called nj ins. fraud, they said they were both fraudulent, and unless I get that sleep study I will go forward with that, also ch.9 is interested in my story and wants to investigate....They will be so sorry they tried to lie and get over on me!!! Did I tell you the head of the sleep center looked at my video, and said wow your really bad, and the equipment wasn't broken, leg movements only record in rem or delta sleep,( lier!! ) i can help you...but i don't take your ins, so nevermind, I asked him to name his price to tell me whats wrong with me, and he said unless I have the right ins, he cannot and willnot even give me a consultation...Basically the child was saying Nanananapopo!! to me, and I'm suffering willing to pay anything!! He'll be trashed, that's for sure!! He's a lier and just plain mean!! Watch for me on the news!!!Not getting into trouble, but talking about healthcare and the problem I'm having!!
