Lymph Node under Chin

Hi, for some time now when i feel under my chin i can feel what i suspect is a lymph node, it is painless as not tender , its movebale and i'd say no bigger than 1.5 cm , im sure it was less than this at first but with me touching it, it has gotten slightley bigger. also it is not visable .
i have read on the internet and gotten conflicting info, some sites say sometimes it is normal to be able to feel a lymph node , others say not .
so basically i'd like to no if there is anyone out there who can give me a educated answer. this is really bugging me, i havent been sick or anything but this lump has been there for months now and has never been tender or sore no mater how much i touch it . thanks for your time
