About 1/2 of folks will test igg + within 2-3 weeks of being infected. The window of opportunity for this is pretty short. Has your current partner been tested?

There is no real way of knowing when the infection was aquired although some tests are able to say whether it is likely to have been recent.

I am going to have IgG test for antibodies, I am still recovering from initial outbreak, so if no antibodies then it has to be caught from current partner

We are now split, I believe she has not gone to clinic.
