Just Had Root Canal

i just had a root canal before having it my symptoms were pain the tooth swelling of my cheek and headaches how long after the root canal should this stuff go away?
didnt get perminant crown yet getting that in a week..but im eating soup right now and when i chew the noodles on the other side of my mouth the root canaled tooth hits the tooth below that firmly is that normal?
