Gynaecological or Irritable Bowel syndrome

I am experiencing some of the following symptoms, which over the past two years have got progressively worse and distressing, cause? initially starting as left sided abdominal pain, bloating and a dragging sensation, which occasional discharge. I have noticed a brown discgarge before menstruation approx four days before menstruation, then mod to heavy bleeding and a dark brown disharge for a further couple of days. I have pain for a total of three weeks which is very severe, the week following menstruation very sever, especially dragging and nausea, standing or laying down can exacerbate symptoms. Bowels and waterworks also affected. Paracetamol has no effect. What is the possible cause?
