I would give it some time. I know how uncomfortable it is! It comes and goes for me. The length of time it persists is different for everyone. Ask your surgeon what he/she thinks. I found that shifting positions helps the most -- figuring out sitting, laying down, right side, left side, arm up on a pillow -- whatever works. You're right. Pain meds don't do anything for it. It is nerve pain.
