why normal BUN?

by gbcweber1958, Nov 30, 2008 03:20AM
According to my GFR, I'm in stage III renal failure, but my last BUN on 11/12/08 was only 14. It was initially elevated in April at 24, but has been in normal range around 14 ever since.  I don't eat red meat, but have protein in my diet in the form of yogurt, cheese, soy milk and nuts.  Does anyone have any idea what's going on?  I don't work out or take creatine supplements.
