Severe Leg Pain

by Beachwalker33, Nov 30, 2008 11:01AM
I have degenerative disk disease. Can severe leg pain be associated with this? I was taking calcium for awhile which helped a great deal. Definately going to start that up again. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

DDD can cause symptoms newhere in ur body.....it all depends where the disks are   deteriorating and or bulging.....causing it to interfere with the spinal cord.I believe u can have PT for DDD, but I would see a NS or NL and have the spine reviewed.

Good luck

My son and I were wrestling and he accidently pushed me up against a corner of a wall,he's only five.I hit my tail bone really hard. The next day I had horrible pain running down both legs. After talking to my grandma I realized it affected the sciatic nerve.I just need to really emphasize that mommy has a back problem and can't wrestle like daddy can.Its feeling quite a bit better, and since I don't have health insurance,I'm not going to go to the doctor. It took me awhile to connect the two. But I'm pretty sure thats what caused it.
